Gunung kerinci berada di Kecamatan Kayu Aro, Kabupaten Kerinci, Provinsi Jambi, Negara Indonesia. Gunung kerinci sangat disukai oleh pecinta alam di Kerinci mau pun pecinta alam diluar dari daerah kerinci, karena gunung kerinci mempunyai daya tarik tersendiri dikarenakan Gunung kerinci merupakan Gunung Vulcano tertinggi yang masih aktif sampai saat sekarang ini. Kerinci Mountain Package

Kerinci Mountain - seen from the street  
 Day1  In the morning pickup at PADANG airport or at a Hotel in Town. Overland journey to Kersik Tua. About 7 to 8 hours by car. 12:00 Lunch in a Padang food restaurant. ​19:00 Dinner in homestay with typical Padang food.

Day 2
    06:30 Indonesian Breakfast in homestay. 07:00 Baggage transport to the Park Gate / trailhead. (Every climber has to bring 1,5 l of water by himself/herself). 08:00 Guest transport from homestay to the Park gate / trailhead. 09:00 The Trek starts. We hike through luxuriant jungle, with all noises of its habitants. Ascent to shelter 3 at 3300m, where we will camp. The climbing lasts around 7-8 hours. 12:00 Lunch with white rice and chicken in shelter 1 at 2500m. 17:30 Dinner with warm rice and fried chicken at shelter 3.

Day 3
Kerinci Mountain Package    03:30 Good morning with hot tea/coffe and bicuits. 04:00 Start climb to the peak (3805m), around 2–2,5 hours. 08:00 Return back down to the tent, walk about 1,5 hour. 10:00 Breakfast with noudlesoup. 10:30 Walk down to homestay about 5 – 6 hour. 18:30 Dinner in homestay (Padang food) Day 4 07:00 Breakfast in homestay. 08:00 Back to Padang city (airport / hotel) or go for another tour as for example the Seven Mountains Tour.
